Vocational Qualification in Social and Healthcare, Practical Nursing

The students accepted must already have a degree in social and health care completed in their country and Edusampo’s education will supplement their education. 

The Vocational Qualification in Social and Health Care is composed of vocational units (145 competence points) and common units (35 competence points). The scope of a vocational qualification is 180 competence points.

The qualification includes four compulsory units:

• Promotion of growth and social inclusion
• Promotion of wellbeing and functional capacity
• Care and rehabilitation for elderly people
• Nursing and care

The common units are: Communication and interaction skills, Competence in mathematics and natural sciences, and Society and working life skills.

Studies at Edusampo are practical: 

• Demonstration of knowledge and skills within each competence unit of the qualification (i.e. a practical test, not written one)
• Studies include months of learning in the workplace – show your passion and be employed directly
• We use team based learning in our studies
